For Investors

COTIS is building wearable AI for the children the world wasn't built for — starting with the 1 in 31 American kids with autism, the 1 in 9 with ADHD, the 1 in 5 with sensory processing differences, and the millions more in dual-language and developmentally diverse households.

If you're an investor exploring this space, we'd like to talk.

What we're building

A small, gentle, on-body AI device with three physical buttons — Ask, Translate, Calm — designed first for neurodivergent kids and the families who love them. No screen. No social feed. No advertising to children. Parents control everything.

Why now

  • The audience is enormous and underserved. Diagnosis rates for autism, ADHD, and sensory processing differences have risen steadily for a decade. The tools haven't kept up. Most "AI for kids" products are screen-first, advertising-supported, or designed for the neurotypical median.
  • Hardware AI is finally viable for children. The combination of on-device inference, low-power cellular, and modern voice models makes a screen-free, child-safe wearable possible at consumer price points for the first time.
  • Regulation is favoring the careful builders. COPPA, GDPR-K, the UK Children's Code, and the new state-level age-appropriate design codes are tightening the floor for what's acceptable in a children's product. Companies that designed for the regulation get a structural advantage.
  • Schools, OTs, SLPs, and clinicians are actively asking for this. Our pre-launch conversations with IEP teams and clinical practices have generated more inbound interest than we can currently respond to.

Where we are

Final design and pre-pilot. Working prototypes. Waitlist live. Pre-seed round in progress.

How we're different

  • Parent-and-caregiver-first design, not kid-first. The account, the safety controls, and the trust relationship live with the adult.
  • Hardware moat. Our device choice is a deliberate barrier to entry — a software-only competitor cannot replicate the on-body, screenless experience.
  • Compliance as architecture. COPPA, GDPR-K, and the UK Children's Code are designed into the data model, not bolted on at the end.
  • Distribution through people who already serve this audience — clinicians, schools, IEP advocates, and parent communities — before paid acquisition.

Who we're looking for

Investors who care about kids and who are excited about the intersection of consumer hardware, AI safety, and neurodivergent inclusion. We are particularly interested in talking with people who have experience scaling consumer hardware, regulated children's products, or assistive technology.
